Beginner's Guide
Everything you need to get started in The Quinfall.
Quick Start Steps
1
Choose your weapon
The Quinfall has 10 weapon types — each gives a different playstyle. Use our Build Planner to explore options before committing.
2
Complete the main questline
The main story quests are your primary source of experience, gold, and gear in the early game. Don't skip them.
3
Learn a Life Skill early
Gathering, processing, and crafting generate significant passive income. Start one early so it levels alongside combat.
4
Join a guild
Guilds provide access to large-scale PvP, cooperative dungeons, and shared buff bonuses. Browse our Guild Directory.
5
Enhance your gear
Enhancement is the main gear progression system. Use our Enhancement Calculator to plan your rolls and minimize cost.
Combat Basics
- ⚔️ Combat is action-oriented — positioning and i-frames matter
- ⚔️ Each weapon has unique skill trees and combo chains
- ⚔️ Subclass selections add passive stats and active abilities
- ⚔️ Mana (MP) is shared across all skills — manage it carefully
- ⚔️ Dying drops equipped gear in open-world PvP zones
Life Skills Overview
- 🌿 Gathering — Collect raw materials from nodes
- 🔥 Processing — Refine raw mats into crafting materials
- 🔨 Crafting — Create weapons, armor, and consumables
- 🌾 Farming — Grow crops on rented property
- ⛵ Sailing — Trade routes and ocean content
Making Gold (Early Game)
💡 Gathering nodes respawn quickly — do circuits while questing.
- 📦 Sell processed materials rather than raw mats for 3-5× profit
- 📦 Complete daily quests for guaranteed gold and XP
- 📦 Trade runs between towns scale gold with carry weight
- 📦 Dungeon drops sell well on the market in week 1
Gear Progression
⚠️ Don't enhance starter gear — wait until you have access to Fine or Rare quality base items.
- 🛡️ Normal → Fine → Rare → Unique → Legendary item tiers
- 🛡️ Enhancement goes +1 to +20, each tier costing more mats
- 🛡️ Failed enhancements reduce durability, not enhancement level
- 🛡️ Gear sets provide set bonuses at 2, 4, and 6 pieces
Party Play
💡 Use the in-game Party Finder to quickly recruit players for dungeons and boss runs.
- 👥 Stay close — PvP/PvE scores are only shared with party members within 100 meters
- 👥 Revive teammates — Dead party members do not gain EXP until they are revived
- 👥 Contribution matters — Monster loot goes to the player or party with the highest damage dealt, not the killing blow
- 👥 Olympiad — If no opponent is matched, you still receive full Olympiad points (v1.0.0.9)
